Fewer posts

I'm posting less often recently because I've been trying to write every day -- I signed up for 750Words.com, a great website that encourages me to write every day and gives out badges (!) if I hit certain milestones. Apparently, although I've intended to try writing every day as a form of mental discipline and emotional health, I can only do it if I get badges.

    Agreed. They're very generous, but I haven't needed it yet -- inspired by "The Shining", whenever I know I'm not going to get all the way up to 750 on a given day, I just type "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy" over and over until I get up to the goal. I leave it as an exercise for the reader to decide whether I type it out each time, or whether I paste, paste, paste . . . .
